GIVING BACK MATTERS
RhinoFit is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the International Rhino Foundation (IRF). The IRF is a non-profit organization based in Fort Worth, Texas that is dedicated to the survival of the world’s rhino species through conservation and research.
RhinoFit has committed to contributing 2% of our gross sales to the IRF to help support their organization’s conservation and research efforts, effective April 1, 2015 and moving forward indefinitely.
When Adam and I started RhinoFit over three years ago, we picked the name RhinoFit because it seemed like a great brand for the business we were trying to build. Over the years, the name has made me more aware of the challenges that the rhino species is facing. Being a big animal lover (my wife and I have several pets that we have adopted from the SPCA), it became clear within the last year that I wanted to help contribute to the rhino species through the success of the RhinoFit business. It just seemed to make sense and the right thing to do.
Of the entrepreneurs that I look up to and have had the pleasure of working with over the last ten years, I have always identified with the ones who made a conscientious effort to give back to something bigger and more important than their business projects. They taught me that there is always a bigger picture and that being a business owner, no matter how big or small the business, there exists opportunity to contribute to making the world a better place.
If you’re currently a RhinoFit client, I hope you feel included in this effort to help the rhino species – without our clients, we wouldn’t have sales to donate! If you’re not a RhinoFit client, I urge you to challenge your business service providers to share their success with the rest of the world by giving back.
I plan on sharing tidbits about our partnership with the IRF in announcements to come as I am truly excited about this opportunity.
